CLEAR Fund

MOBILIST is investing in the Helios Climate, Energy Access, and Resilience (CLEAR) Fund, an Africa-focused climate investment fund.

CLEAR Fund was realised through catalytic backing from MOBILIST and InfraCo Africa, part of the Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG). The Fund secured approximately US$200 million in anchor investment from eight leading institutions in its first close. 

CLEAR is managed by Helios Investment Partners, the largest Africa-focused private investment firm. With a target size of US$400 million, it intends to become the largest Africa-focused climate fund.

The Fund will target investments focused on five key areas: green energy solutions, climate-smart agriculture and food, green mobility and logistics, recycling and resource efficiency, and digital and financial climate enablers.
